Cape No Fear

 This collaborative painting donated to the Landfall Foundation by artists known as Las Artistas II. 

Over the last five years, this group has gathered to create a wonderful piece of abstract art. The artists had met in various workshops and their first projects were paintings that were produced in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. Afterwards the group moved to Santa Fe, New Mexico and finally they find themselves in Wilmington, North Carolina, courtesy of one of the participants, Peggy Vineyard. 

Their love of art and the blossoming of new friendships has brought many lovely pieces and their camaraderie and fellowship has grown over the years. What could be more fun? 

The members of Las Artistas come from all over the world including New York City, Palm Beach, Houston, San Diego, New Orleans, Beaufort, SC, Charlotte, San Miguel de Allende, and Wilmington, North Carolina.. 

The Landfall Foundation is honored to auction this lovely, one- of -a -kind, work of art lovingly created and destined to become a treasure in someone's home.  Painting dimensions are 40” X 40”

Bids will be accepted silently at the Landfall Foundation Gala on April 26, 2025 at the Country Club of Landfall. The 13th annual Landfall Foundation Holiday Marketplace will be held Monday, December 9, 2024 at the Country Club of Landfall Nicklaus Clubhouse (800 Sun Runner Place, Wilmington) from 3:30 -7:00 pm. The Holiday Marketplace is a shopping tradition open to the public where shoppers enjoy buying seasonal gifts, household decor, clothing, jewelry, artisan products and much more while supporting greater Wilmington area nonprofit organizations. This is an exciting and festive event with hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar. There will be 23 new vendors at this year's marketplace!

During the event, there will be a 50/50 raffle. Raffle ticket sales will be at the front and rear of the clubhouse. Come out and explore all the incredible products for sale including items from many new vendors!
