Our Story - Celebrating Over 25 Years of Giving

The Landfall Foundation was formed as a means for Landfall residents to thoughtfully and confidently extend support to greater Wilmington area non-profit organizations.  Grants are awarded after our Grants Committee evaluates applications for projects and programs in the areas of the arts, education, health and welfare. This valuable contribution to smaller organizations, that are often underfunded, makes a major impact on the vital needs of our community.

The Landfall Foundation recently presented checks totaling $550,000 to 99 Wilmington area non-profit organizations and schools, bringing a total of $7.3 million donated since the Foundation’s inception in 1995.

In 2023 the maximum individual grant award was increased from $7500 to $10,000.
